A. We currently have 54 counselors registered, 23 of which are active.

Q. What is an "active" counselor?
A. All counselors on the site have the ability to be live or dormant at a given time. An active counselor is one whose site is available to perform journal or conference counseling.

Q. What methods of counseling do you offer on the site?
A. Please see our methods page for more details.

Q. How do I know what time a conference is held if I live in a different time-zone than the conference was scheduled?
A. ALL conferences are scheduled in Eastern Standard Time. If you live in the Central, Mountain or Pacific time-zones you will have to subtract the appropriate number of hours to find the time a conference will start in your time-zone. See our time zone conversion page for more details.

Q. Is my personal and counseling information safe on the site, and will it be kept private?
A. Yes. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

Q. What payment options do I have on the web site?
A. We currently accept Visa/MC. Only "BCCN, Ltd." will appear on your credit card statement. To protect your privacy, the word "Counseling" will not appear on your credit card statement.

Q. Am I safe using my credit card on the web site?
A. The Barnabus Network uses SSL Security to encrypt all of our credit card transactions on the web site. Our SSL Security is provided by Universal Promotions.

Q. What is all this talk about Cookies?
A. A Cookie is a small piece of information that is saved in your computer when you visit a site. This information is usually just a number or string of characters that represent who you are to the web site. Each time you request a page from the site, the Cookie is sent along with the request. The Server is able to look at the value sent in the Cookie, and determine if you have visited the site before. Cookies CAN NOT look into, or pull information out of your computer. Cookies are currently the easiest way of tracking who visitors are on a site, and this helps create an environment on the site that is customized just for you.
