Both Seminary Training and University Education have influenced my professional abilities.

I have my Biblical background from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

My undergraduate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling is from the University of Southern Mississippi.

My graduate training in Counselor Education is from the University of South Alabama, and my
post graduate training (which focused on Marriage and Family Therapy Coursework) is from Mobile College.

I have Clinical Membership Status in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, which denotes much intense postgraduate work and many hours of supervised experience.

I have worked in a great variety of settings, which have given me a wide variety of exposures to various counseling issues. I have also worked in hospitals, outpatient counseling centers, addiction centers, a domestic violence shelter, a women's center, and with children and adolescents in a psychiatric setting.

God has also taken me through many personal crisis issues from which I have achieved victory. There are not many valleys which you might bring to me that I have not personally walked through. Therefore I do not fear going there again with you and showing you the way through.

The theme of my work with you will be to help you find a place of new beginnings...a new foundation for the rest of your life to replace the old foundation which was built on faulty truths learned in your family, church, culture, or world of work. I will take you through an assessment exercise to help you learn how you became who you are in these settings and how you can have new freedom in Christ to choose, as an adult, to recreate your life based on a new set of truths.
